B&BW Haul!

I know, I'm really late with this haul because I went shopping at Bath and Body Works like over a week ago during their giant Fall sale but please forgive me for I was working on the Tag: 10 Things I Would Repurchase post and I had a lot of classwork to catch up on. But I digress, I guess it's better later than never right?

I only have pictures of some of the items I purchased because some of the things I took to my boyfriend's place and some, like the wall scents, were not very photogenic. I didn't go too crazy during this latest B&BW purchase but all the new scents were really enticing so I did end up with quite a lot.

They had a buy 3, get 3 free deal on signature collection body care and while I'm not a fan of anything but their shower gels, the new Paris collection caught my attention. From left to right I have Paris in Bloom, Pink Chiffon, Paris Nights and Warm Vanilla Sugar. Paris in Bloom, which is part of the newest Paris collection, is a really pretty orangey-pink with a fruity floral scent of "pink peony, dewy pear and blonde woods." Pink Chiffon is an older scent that I never really paid much mind to, but my mom really liked it so I figured I'd give it a try. It's a purple-pink fruity scent with a hint of floral, on the bottle it says its an "ultra-feminine blend of sparkling red pear, vanilla orchid and whipped chiffon musk." Another scent from the new Paris collection is Paris Nights, a deep purple color, it smells like rich champagne floral scent. According to B&BW it is a "seductive blend of French jasmine, clementine and cabernet musk," it smells a bit strong in the bottle but I figure it'll smell amazing in the shower. Finally I got the one scent that I never tire of, Warm Vanilla Sugar, which is a light yellow color that looks like vanilla extract and smells of, what else, vanilla!

Next I got some 2 for $20 candles that I absolutely love because they have amazing scents and even though they seem very pricey for $10 a pop, they last for months because they're huge! The newest Fall scents just came out when I was at the store so I picked up a Leaves candle and a Marshmallow Fireside candle. I brought the Leaves candle to my boyfriend's house so I don't have a picture of it, but trust me when I say it smells amazing. It smells like cinnamon with a woodsy undertone, like if you found a bakery in the woods, which makes me think of Hansel and Gretel, but don't worry, no hungry witches will be cooking you for dinner. As for Marshmallow Fireside, it smells like roasting marshmallows over a fire...duh. It has a sweet scent that's not overpowering, so among the other food related candles, like Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin or Pumpkin Cupcake, you won't get suffocated by the smell of deliciousness.

I also purchased some wallflower refills as I mentioned, and I got 4 for $20. I got a Leaves, a Warm Vanilla Sugar, a Fresh Linen and a Jasmine Cherry Blossom. Finally, I got a True Blue Spa Super Rich Hand Cream with a coupon for a free item of your choice with purchase.

Even though I bought these things over a week ago, B&BW is still having a lot of the same promotions. Last time I checked the 2 for $20 candles and 4 for $20 wallflower scents were still going on. As for the buy 3 get 3 free deal on the signature body collection, you'll probably have to wait until next month. They usually have a lot of promotions so if you wait a little while a promo on what you want to buy is sure to come up. So if you're interested, head on over there now!

TAG: 10 Products I Would Repurchase

This tag has been going around YouTube lately and I really wanted to do it because not only does it look like a lot of fun but it will also help to give you all an idea of what my favorite products are. The idea behind this tag is if all your makeup were to disappear, what 10 products would you immediately repurchase to build back your collection. So here are the 10 products I would repurchase:

I would definitely repurchase my Urban Decay Naked Palette because honestly, it's pretty much the only palette I use anyways. I'm a big fan of the natural eye look so this palette has all the shades I could possibly need. I do own the Naked 2 and The Balm's Nude'Tude palettes but the original Naked is what I most reach for. In the day time my go to look is Naked as a base, Buck in the crease, Sidecar all over and Virgin on my brow bones and inner corners of my eyes.

I did a review on this product in my previous post and in it I mentioned how this was one of the best foundations I've ever tried. I can't live without foundation, so if all my makeup disappeared this would be the first foundation I'd invest in. It makes my skin look flawless and stays on all day. It has a semi-matte finish so your skin isn't shiny but still looks lifelike. I also love how smooth to the touch this foundation is and how it almost melts into your skin so you don't even feel like you're wearing foundation.

Black liquid eyeliner is my go to liner because black is such a basic color and liquid liners can give me that precise bold line that I love to wear. This Koji Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner is my favorite black liquid liner because it's a true black and it stays on all day. It has a stiff brush tip applicator and the product itself is more of a drier liquid, as opposed to a very runny liquid like the Lancome Artliner, so it doesn't smudge or crease when you're applying it. The pen shape makes it very easy to apply and the packaging is just too cute.

I'm a huge fan of Anastasia brow products, they're actually the only brow products I use, I have this brow powder duo for at home and the brow wiz for when I'm traveling. I would definitely repurchase this if all my makeup disappeared because it naturally fills in my brows and stays in place all day. I know that the price tag is pretty hefty for a brow powder but I've literally had this powder for over three years and I've only just hit pan, so it's definitely worth the splurge.

I love my Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler, it has been with me for over 2 years and has never failed to perfectly curl my lashes. It curls my lashes without pulling, pinching or tugging and I love it so much I've actually never tried another lash curler after I got this one.

I'm not the biggest fan of drugstore makeup, but when it comes to mascara, sometimes even department store brands can't compare. This mascara by CoverGirl is one of my favorite mascaras of all time because it separates and defines each lash while providing a bit of length and lots of volume and on top of that it doesn't smudge. I've tried tons of other mascaras but this one is definitely my all time favorite.

Instead of buying lip gloss, lip stick or lip stain, I'd probably go out and purchase this Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me because I love it that much. It gives the perfect your lips but better color and it's easy to apply without a mirror. It's also a balm so it isn't very heavy on your lips and you don't have to worry about smudging. I don't like my makeup being too high maintenance so I actually wear this product much more often than I do any of my other lip products.

Without this product all my eye products would go to waste because they'd just slide right off of my oily lids. I've had this primer for over 3 years and I still have a lot left in the tube so it's definitely worth the investment.

When I first tried this blush I hated it because I barely saw any color on my cheeks and thought it was a complete waste of money. However, once I got through the top layer of this product the true color started to come out and I began to notice the beautiful natural flush it gave to my cheeks. It's extremely light and almost unnoticeable but when you take a step back and look, it really gives an angelic glow to your face.

Most bronzers tend to be too dark for my face or too orangey but this bronzer is perfect. I like to use it all over my face to warm it up and it applies evenly and smoothly. I have yet to find a bronzer better than this one so until then this is my go to bronzer. I just wish it wasn't so pricey!

I hope you enjoyed reading this tag and I encourage everybody who's interested to do this tag as well. These are the current products that I'd repurchase if all my makeup suddenly disappeared and I'd love to  know yours. So leave a comment below telling me what 10 products you'd repurchase if all your makeup vanished, or leave a link to your blog if you've done this tag already.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H (310 Bisque)

I first mentioned the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H ($44) in my Sephora haul about a month ago and since then I've been using it almost every day. I have the product in the shade 310 Bisque and it was color matched to my skin during the summer, so unfortunately, this probably won't work for me during the colder months. However, I'm extremely happy with the product and it's actually converted me back to foundation from tinted moisturizer.

The product comes in a frosted glass pump container with a plastic cap. The packaging is nice, it looks very pretty in my makeup collection, and I really like the fact that it has a pump. Pumps are a much more sanitary way of applying your foundation rather than constantly dipping a dirty brush into a container and having it breed bacteria.

I typically use one and a half pumps to cover my entire face and I'd say that the coverage is medium to full with a matte finish. The product itself is very creamy and I like to use the Sephora Pro Flawless Airbrush #56 to apply it. I apply some extra product to any areas that have redness or blemishes and it definitely evens everything out.

The product says that it lasts for 24 hours but really, who wears makeup for 24 hours?! Anyways, it definitely lasts all day because I have normal to combination skin and I apply it at around 7:30 in the morning of my longest school day and get home at 9:30 at night and I still have an almost flawless look to my skin.

I would recommend this product to all skin types because it's creamy and moisturizing enough for dry skin types and mattifying enough for oily skin types. It's one of the best foundations I've ever tried and I will most likely repurchase it when I run out.

September Wish List!

September has finally come and while I'm looking forward to the cooler weather, I'm not looking forward to all the work that comes with this Fall semester. I'm aiming to bring my GPA up from a 3.7 to a 3.8 this semester so I'm going to working extra hard, but that doesn't mean I won't be making time for this blog. I'm really happy with how far this blog has come in a little under three months and I'm going to give it my all to keep this good thing going.

But enough about that, since it is the beginning of the month, you all know what that means: it's time for my September Wish List! As for my August Wish List, I ended up not buying much because I was stuck in class for most of August so I had no time for shopping but I did manage to pick up a NYX Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp. This month I hope to pick up at least more than half of these things but since I am back in class again who knows what'll happen.

I've been hearing so much about these Clarisonic brushes lately that I'm just dying to try one out. The Clarisonic Mia is a smaller travel-friendly version of the original Clarisonic Skincare Brush, which I figured is probably more worth it for me in the long run since I would want to travel with it and I don't like to handle giant clunky machinery around my face. I'm pretty set on getting it but I think I might do some more research first before investing $119 in it. If any of you have one or have tried it please let me know what you think in a comment below, to buy or not to buy?

In January my boyfriend and I went to Disney World in Orlando for vacation and we loved it so much that we've decided to go again next January but stop by Universal Orlando and maybe Seaworld as well. When we went this year I only brought a retractable kabuki brush and the dual ended Urban Decay eyeshadow brush that comes with the Naked 2 palette, and while it was sufficient enough I did wish I had more brushes. So that's why in preparation for next year I really want to get this travel brush set from Sigma. It comes with a container that not only stores the brushes so they can be safely transported but also doubles as a brush stand.

I think in one of my previous beauty wish lists I mentioned a toner from The Body Shop that I ended up never getting around to purchasing. Since I never did buy it I've still been on the hunt for a good toner to balance out my combination skin and help fight the blackheads and acne that has been popping up in my T-zone. I was thinking about trying this Lush product instead because I haven't bought a Lush product in so long and it says that it's meant for combination skin with a problem T-Zone area!

As I mentioned before, my skin has been breaking out lately due to the sweltering heat and my skin type has changed from normal to combination. This face mask is said to be made for combination and acne prone skin so I'm willing to give it a try. If anybody has any other recommendations for me, please let me know with a comment below.

If you can't tell by now I'm on a serious Lush kick. I have a serious problem with dry heels and my cuticles have been looking raggedy lately. I figured I should give this cuticle butter a try because I've heard it's extremely rich, creamy and works great on moisturizing dry heels. I've been considering purchasing these socks that BeautyBaby44 mentioned in one of her videos that have this gel area around the heel to work with lotions to really soften your heels.

In my Back to School: What's in my School Bag? post I mentioned that I wanted a new wallet that included an area for coins. I recently spotted this adorable wallet from Tory Burch and I'm totally in love with it. Its a zip case with two pockets on the inside to hold cards, cash and change. On a side note, if you're looking to purchase something from Tory Burch be sure to sign up for their emails if you haven't already, you get a 10% off code when you do it.

I'm a little bit on the fence about this one. I've been taking an interest in the hidden wedge high-top sneaker trend but I could never find one that was in my price range or to my liking. FleurDeForce mentioned this sneaker in one of her recent videos and I decided to check it out. I don't know if I want to purchase it because it is a bit pricey but I do want to try out this trend. What do you think, to buy or not to buy?

Share with me your wish lists with a comment below or a link to your post. I'm always on the lookout for new products so I'd love to know!
